Job Type: Full-time, 12-Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of medical supplies, equipment, general goods, and services essential to hospital and organizational operations. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement in support of patient care, staff needs, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes for medical, surgical, administrative, and general items
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable vendors across multiple categories
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with departments for supply requirements
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, budgetary limits, and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier performance, and contracts
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ procurement experience (healthcare or general procurement preferred)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems
• Understanding of healthcare procurement regulations and supply chain best practices
