Job Summary
Melodica Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the company’s purchasing activities and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have hands-on procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, a valid UAE driving license, and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for procurement and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle — sourcing, RFQs, comparisons, negotiations, and purchase orders
- Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Ensure timely purchasing of musical instruments, equipment, office supplies, and operational materials
- Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 to:
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Track inventory levels
- Monitor supplier performance
- Maintain procurement records
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, admin, academy branches) for procurement needs
- Compare prices and prepare cost analysis reports
- Ensure all purchases align with budgets and company policies
- Follow up with suppliers on deliveries and resolve delays or discrepancies
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Visit suppliers and branches when required (driving license is essential)
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2–4+ years of procurement or purchasing experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (procurement / inventory module)
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of supply chain and inventory processes
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is essential)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-branch environment
Preferred
- Experience in education, retail, or multi-branch operations
- Knowledge of importing processes and local UAE suppliers
