Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement / Purchase Manager (Civil) to oversee the end-to-end procurement of civil materials, equipment, and services for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing, cost-effectiveness, and quality compliance to support project execution within budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the entire procurement cycle — from vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization to delivery and payment coordination.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), and Rate Contracts as per company policy.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for consistent quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensure timely procurement of civil materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, RMC, tiles, plumbing, electrical, and finishing materials.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing parameters.
• Coordinate with Project, Planning, and Finance teams for smooth procurement execution and inventory management.
• Maintain and update procurement databases, price comparisons, and material tracking reports.
• Implement cost-saving measures, vendor development, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and safety norms.
• Participate in technical and commercial bid evaluations for major items and subcontracting services.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and procurement procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle / similar).
• Strong understanding of vendor management, logistics, and supply chain coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• MBA in Materials Management / Supply Chain (preferred).

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
