The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that the company acquires necessary materials and equipment at the best possible prices while maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring timely delivery.

Lead the procurement process for materials, goods, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition to meet operational requirements.

Supplier Negotiation:
Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers, securing competitive prices and contracts while fostering strong, long-term supplier relationships.

Cost Optimization:
Ensure cost-effective purchasing by evaluating and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery performance. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize procurement costs.

Supplier Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring effective communication, conducting performance reviews, and resolving issues as needed.

Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, evaluate suppliers, and understand market conditions that could impact pricing or availability.

Inventory Coordination:
Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure procurement aligns with inventory needs, demand forecasts, and operational schedules.

Contract Management:
Oversee the negotiation and management of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, service levels, and pricing.

Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier contracts.

Supplier Performance Evaluation:
Monitor and assess supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics. Take corrective actions as necessary when performance issues arise.

Reporting:
Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory status, to senior management.
