Procurement Specialist

Our client in WEST HOUSTON is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team on a direct-hire basis!

Job Description:

• Lead complex sourcing activities, engage in contracts management, and work to identify and capture major cost savings
• Research, source and qualify suppliers that align with the goals of the Company
• Work closely with Project Managers and Construction teams
• Analyze markets and develop effective sourcing strategies
• Prepare KPIs for select key suppliers and evaluate their performance
• Identify and capture savings via sourcing activities
• Develop, Deploy & Codify sound / efficient procurement processes and procedures
• Execute contracts using industry best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of sourcing complex services and goods (including bid preparation and evaluation) and procurement process development and deployment
• Excellent skill level with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Power BI
