Procurement Specialist

Salary Hiring Range: $60,350 - $75,650.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for negotiating and purchasing goods and services for the college, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Your primary duties will include:

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Analyzing costs, obtaining goods at the best possible prices, and negotiating terms and delivery options.
• Managing supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Ensuring all procurement activities comply with college purchasing policies.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, expenses, and inventory, and preparing necessary reports.
• Working with internal college staff to understand their needs and aligning procurement activities with the overall objectives of the college.
• Planning and booking travel on an as-needed basis.
