Job Summary

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in our supply chain by managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely procurement of critical components and finished goods. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory Control, Operations, and Finance teams to support product availability, cost control, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and identify potential suppliers and select the best options based on company objectives.
• Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, deliveries, or quality issues in a timely manner.
• Partner with QA and Regulatory teams to ensure supplier compliance with FDA, ISO13485, and other relevant standards.
• Follow up on open purchase orders and assist with expediting as needed.
• Prepare COGS analysis and KPIs for internal review and audits.

Skills

• Strong organizational, negotiation, analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of FDA or ISO quality standards
• Understanding of procurement processes and vendor coordination
• Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data, problem identification, resolution and the ability to generate clear-concise reports indicating key issues to management
• Effective time management and ability to work independently

Education and Experience

· Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 2 + years of purchasing or procurement experience

· ERP / MRP systems Planning and Purchasing experience required (SAGE 100 preferred)

· Demand forecasting experience required

· Microsoft Excel (create formulas, use pivot tables, etc.), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Pay: $51,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
