Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Reports to: Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Head

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with strong expertise in SAP Ariba to manage end-to-end procurement processes efficiently and strategically. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing operations, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services in alignment with company standards and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete procurement cycle from requisition, RFQ, and vendor selection to purchaseorder creation and delivery follow-up.

Utilize SAP Ariba and SAP ERP systems for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, andreporting.

Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Conduct market research and price analysis to support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to optimize cost savings.

Coordinate closely with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and timelines.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, supplier data, and contracts.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and audit standards.

Monitor vendor performance and build strong supplier relationships.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–5 years of professional experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.

Hands-on experience in SAP Ariba and SAP (MM or Procurement modules) is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, and contract management processes.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in Manufacturing, Defense, Aerospace, or Industrial sectors will be an added advantage.

Exposure to global procurement or indirect purchasing is a plus.
