Our client is a leading manufacturing organization in Dallas seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support purchasing activities across our production, R&D, and service operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth manufacturing flow by managing raw material procurement, coordinating with suppliers, and working within an MRP-driven planning environment. If you enjoy solving problems, working cross-functionally, and building strong supplier partnerships, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Purchase raw materials, components, and consumables using MRP and purchase requisitions.

• Validate supplier quotes and lead times; negotiate pricing when appropriate.

• Track orders, expedite shipments, and resolve issues with late, missing, or incorrect deliveries.

• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and service teams to meet operational and production requirements.

• Collaborate with Accounting and Receiving teams to reconcile invoice discrepancies and delivery variances.

• Support supplier performance tracking, reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.

What You Must Have

• 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for planning and purchasing.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills required.

• Salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD
