Procurement Specialist

Job Description

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement cycle for IT and automation projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials and equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT procurement and familiarity with brands such as Crestron, Aruba, and Cisco, along with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT, automation, networking, and AV systems.
• Source and purchase products from approved vendors and global suppliers, ensuring best pricing and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors including Crestron, Aruba, Cisco, and other technology partners.
• Review technical specifications, BOQs, and project requirements with engineers and project managers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation including purchase orders, quotations, and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budget constraints, and procurement best practices.
• Track, analyze, and report procurement metrics (cost savings, vendor performance, delivery timelines).
• Work closely with finance and logistics teams for payments, customs clearance, and material handling.
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new product releases in IT and automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in IT/technology.
• Strong knowledge of IT brands such as Crestron, Aruba, Cisco, and other automation/networking vendors.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• UAE/GCC procurement experience preferred.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
