<Responsibilities>
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on sourcing, category management, and supply chain optimization.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or quality issues and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams on production planning, materials management, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance through supplier management programs, ensuring compliance with quality standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations when applicable.
- Support sourcing initiatives by conducting market research and analysis to identify new suppliers or alternative sources that enhance supply chain resilience.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS; familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, contract management, and category management strategies.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices including sourcing, pricing strategies, logistics, and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) is a plus for roles involving government contracts.
