We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage purchase order placement and production coordination across a mix of company-owned manufacturing facilities and third-party overseas factory partners. This role plays a key part in supporting both our wholesale retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses by ensuring orders are placed accurately, produced on time, and delivered as planned.


This position works cross-functionally with internal teams and collaborates closely with factory operations to maintain smooth, efficient production across multiple channels and regions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Place and manage purchase orders across both company-owned factories and third-party overseas suppliers
  • Coordinate production plans and order execution with internal factory teams and external manufacturing partners
  • Serve as a central point of contact to ensure alignment on quantities, specifications, timelines, and priorities
  • Track production progress and delivery schedules, proactively identifying and addressing risks or delays
  • Work cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, logistics, quality, and sales teams to align demand and execution
  • Ensure accuracy of all order details including pricing, specifications, packaging, and delivery terms
  • Maintain clear documentation and update internal systems with order status and changes
  • Use Excel to analyze order data, track production status, reconcile discrepancies, and support reporting
  • Support issue resolution related to production capacity, quality concerns, or delivery timelines
  • Assist in improving procurement and order management processes across internal and external manufacturing networks


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or production coordination
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturing facilities (internal and/or third-party)
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, tracking, and reporting (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables)
  • Experience working within ERP systems for purchase order and inventory management. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Background in consumer goods manufacturing or global sourcing a plus
