Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist at Aofgroup is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services at the best value while maintaining quality and supplier relationships. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal departments to support operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality procurement.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to achieve optimal agreements.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Support supplier relationship management and resolve any procurement issues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in procurement/purchasing roles.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
