About Creative A
Creative A is an Art Consulting & Fabrication studio specializing in turnkey accessories and artwork programs for Senior Living, Multi-Family, Corporate and Hospitality clients. From tabletop decor and sculptures to faux and live plants, books, and curated wall art, we deliver thoughtfully styled, installation-ready environments that elevate every property we touch.
Position Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Accessories Procurement Specialist (Contract) to support our design team across the full accessories lifecycle: sourcing, vendor management, purchasing, order tracking, receiving, repackaging, quality control, and shipping. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, on-the-go role for a contractor who thrives in a deadline-driven studio environment and takes pride in flawless execution.
If you have an eye for design, a logistics-minded brain, and you love checking every box on a procurement tracker, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Provide accessories procurement and sourcing support to senior interior designers across all accessory and artwork selections.
- Source, select, and order accessories from our trusted vendor network, including tabletop decor, faux plants, live plants, sculptures, books, and other curated decorative items.
- Source, vet, and onboard new vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Manage the full order lifecycle in monday.com, our project management software: enter orders, track real-time order status, and update items that are canceled, backordered, discontinued, or need to be reselected.
- Communicate proactively with designers when items require reselection due to discontinuation, stock issues, or vendor delays.
- Create and process purchase orders in QuickBooks Online, including PO tracking and reconciliation.
- Receive, inspect, and quality-check inbound shipments; flag damages and manage RMAs (returns/replacements).
- Stock, organize, and inventory accessories in the studio/warehouse.
- Repackage, label, and prepare goods for client delivery and installation.
- Coordinate outbound shipments with the production team, including FedEx, UPS, and palletized LTL freight.
- Generate shipping labels, BOLs, and required documentation; complete carrier drop-offs as needed.
- Support ownership with daily operations: client emails, RFQs, RFIs, and ad-hoc project tasks.
- Foster positive, professional relationships with clients, designers, vendors, and teammates that reflect the Creative A studio standard.
What You Bring
Required
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, accessories coordination, or design studio operations (interior design, hospitality, senior living, or multi-family experience strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for purchase order creation and management.
- Experience with monday.com (or comparable project management software such as Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or Smartsheet) for tracking orders and updating statuses.
- Computer literate on both Mac and PC operating systems; comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS, freight portals).
- Meticulous attention to detail across product specs, dimensions, finishes, and order accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly and professionally with demanding clients and vendors.
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and the composure to hit daily deadlines under pressure.
- A team player with strong work ethic, common sense, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to lift, move, and repackage accessories; comfortable with hands-on warehouse-style work and carrier drop-offs.
- Reliable transportation for shipping drop-offs and errands.
- Professional appearance; willingness to represent the company in supplied corporate apparel.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or related design degree.
- A great eye for detail, proportion, color, and aesthetically driven accessory and artwork curation.
- Familiarity with Senior Living, Multi-Family, or Hospitality design segments.
- Experience sourcing tabletop decor, plants (faux and live), sculptures, books, and decorative accessories from trade vendors and showrooms.
