Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for the organization while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills to support organizational goals and maintain compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues as needed.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize purchasing decisions.
  • Process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or equivalent.
  • Experience with strategic sourcing and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
