Job Title: Procurement Supervisor

Overall Job Objective:
Supervise daily procurement activities and ensure that purchasing operations are carried out with the highest levels of efficiency and quality by monitoring prices, evaluating suppliers, and managing the team to meet operational needs in a timely manner and under the best possible terms.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the food and beverage or food materials sector.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Pricing Supervision:

  • Receive pricing requests from various departments and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  • Request quotations from suppliers, compare and analyze them to select the most suitable in terms of price, quality, and delivery time.
  • Continuously monitor market price changes and provide management with recommendations regarding optimal purchasing opportunities.

Price Monitoring:

  • Regularly track material and product prices to ensure their alignment with market standards and approved budgets.
  • Prepare periodic reports showing price variances, market trends, and their impact on purchasing operations.
  • Ensure adherence to approved pricing policies and document any updates or changes.

Supplier Contracting and Relations:

  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
  • Supervise the approval process for new suppliers and continuously update the supplier database.
  • Follow up on contracts and agreements signed with suppliers to ensure full compliance with their terms.

Procurement Team Management:

  • Direct supervision of a team consisting of a supervisor, an office employee, and three field employees.
  • Distribute tasks, monitor execution, and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Provide necessary support and guidance to the team to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.

Reporting Lines and Communication:

Reports directly to: Sales Manager
Communicates directly with: Suppliers, Finance Department, and other operational departments.

Preferred Experience:
Candidates with previous experience in the food materials or food industry are highly preferred.
