Procurement Supervisor

We are seeking a Procurement Supervisor to join our dynamic team and support our growing textile - software business. The Procurement Supervisor will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of materials, components, and equipment required.

This is a market position and requires 80% in market, this is NOT Office based.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, an understanding of the mechanical parts industry, knowledge of good places to purchase items on a low cost, and excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Source suppliers for electrical/ mechanical components.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand procurement requirements and timelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to meet project deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement process.
• Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and new technologies in the local market
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Associate/ DAE in any engineering is preferable
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Knowledge of sourcing and suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs38,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
