Procurement / Supply Chain Specialist

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain (Riyadh)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Reports to: Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage and execute procurement activities efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services that meet quality standards and support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process purchase requisitions in accordance with company policies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications are a plus, such as:
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Time Management: Manages multiple procurement tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Handles supplier issues and procurement challenges proactively.

  • Adaptability: Responds well to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Ethical Judgment: Maintains integrity and transparency in all procurement activities.
  • Communication Skills: Clearly conveys information to suppliers and internal teams.
  • Customer Orientation: Understands and prioritizes internal client needs.

Language Requirement: Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ﷼5,500.00 - ﷼9,000.00 per month
