Overview
The MRP Planner is responsible for planning and managing material requirements to ensure the timely availability of components and finished goods while optimizing inventory levels across European operations. The role supports production continuity, service level targets, and cost efficiency in line with company and regional supply chain strategies.
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to ensure accurate demand and supply alignment

Create and release planned orders for raw materials, components, and semi-finished goods

Monitor inventory levels and take actions to prevent shortages, excess, and obsolescence

Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Demand Planning teams

Analyze demand forecasts, production plans, and BOM accuracy to improve MRP results

Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules, lead times, and capacity constraints

Identify and resolve material availability issues impacting production or customer service

Maintain master data accuracy (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, MOQ) in ERP systems

Track KPIs such as service level, inventory turns, and planning adherence

Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and planning processes

Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant European regulatory requirements
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field

2-5 years of experience in MRP, production planning, or supply planning (manufacturing environment preferred)

Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)

Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and planning parameters
