Produce Stocker

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh produce, ensuring items are properly displayed and labeled for maximum appeal
• Manage inventory levels using RF scanners and inventory control systems to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce area, including packaging, sanitation, and general upkeep
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, verifying shipments against purchase orders and documenting discrepancies
• Support merchandising efforts by rotating stock, creating attractive displays, and implementing promotional signage
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about produce items, offering product recommendations, and supporting retail sales initiatives

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or retail grocery store background preferred, especially in produce or perishables
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is a benefit but not required
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customer needs
• Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate stock counts and pricing adjustments
