JOB TITLE

Producer | MAF Entertainment | Film Production

Role Summary

Serve as the executional project lead, guide the day-to-day development of projects. Serves as the Studio contact on assigned projects, ensuring approvals are secured, objectives are achieved, and timeline & budgets are met.

ROLE PROFILE

• Communicates externally with partners and internally with the studio team to keep all apprised of project status, updates and changes.
• Break down the script to get estimates based on market-knowledge.
• Overseeing & tracking budgets and deadlines throughout filmmaking process: development, pre-production, production, and post-production.
• Oversees commissioned line-producers and manages reporting to stakeholders.
• Relays all on-ground production updates to Majid Al Futtaim Production team.
• Build relationships with equipment rental houses, postproduction facilities etc.
• Manages all schedules related to reviewing of content by team, attendance of team on production sites.
• Connect and work with different teams in the company: distribution, distribution marketing, VOX Cinema, legal, finance, CX, data & insight.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as filmmaking, film finance, creative content production, media or entertainment.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience working as a line-producer or/& project-production manager.
• Fluent in Arabic and English. Can read Arabic feature film scripts.
• Knowledge of Middle East & North Africa (MENA) business and creative industries and the wider international industry.
