Product Attorney (AR/VR)

The Position
Our client is a social media company with a virtual reality product, and they are seeking additional legal support to provide advice and counsel. The ideal candidate will have prior in-house experience supporting a consumer-facing technology product. The work will include advising on consumer-related issues such as privacy policies, data use, storage and deletion, content regulation, and integrity matters. This person will also support the development of training and education materials for the platform and must be able to handle commercial transactions related to the product’s launch in a new space.

The candidate should have experience working in a highly collaborative legal environment where close communication with engineering teams, product managers, and subject matter experts is standard. The role will involve a mix of transactional and product/privacy work, and requires flexibility in the type of matters handled.

The client is looking to have someone in the seat by the beginning of December. The role is 40 hours/week, and fully remote. Candidates must be able to support PST.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $105. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
