PRODUCT COPYWRITER

Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite 3 days per week)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Compensation Range: $40 - 50 per hour

Our client in the retail space is looking for a mid-level Product Copywriter to join their fashion photo studio in LA. This role is a key contributor to their fashion business, writing compelling copy for the 1,000+ samples the studio receives weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the content we produce is accurate, consistent with our brand voice & product guidelines and meets all Federal Trade Commission regulations.
• Writing detailed, engaging copy that helps our customer make a smart purchase decision.
• Researching and understanding the latest trends to inform our targeted audiences.
• Applying SEO principles to maximize reach to our target audiences.
• Conducting competitive research to identify market gaps.

Qualifications:

• You have a good understanding of creative and photo studio roles and responsibilities.
• You have a minimum of three years of proven work experience as a fashion copywriter.
• You can write clear and compelling product copy that leaves a lasting impression.
• You can take any product's unique features and turn them into benefits.
• You know your way around Content Management Systems.
• You are highly motivated and can manage deadlines.
• You care about workplace culture and brainstorm ideas to keep it thriving.
