Summary of the Role

This role involves translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions, ensuring seamless delivery across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will act as a key contributor and mentor within the team, driving process improvements, supporting cross-functional projects, and maintaining production integrity while collaborating with stakeholders and customers.

In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, including non-functional aspects, and consolidate them into actionable product concepts or upgrades.

• Define user requirements, design technical solutions, and perform feasibility studies.

• Prepare detailed documentation such as Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Product Specifications.

• Collaborate with multiple divisions to ensure compatibility and integration with Amadeus applications.

• Contribute across all SDLC phases, including design, development, testing, and implementation.

• Support customers by debugging existing solutions and providing root cause analysis.

• Implement and review test strategies, ensuring compliance with specifications and system integrity.

• Conduct unit, package, and performance tests to maintain quality standards.

• Engage with customers during requirements gathering, functional specification, testing, and implementation phases.

• Deliver presentations, demos, and functional walkthroughs to internal teams and customers.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, solution assessments, and sprint reviews.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and propose process enhancements.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Experience Range: 8–11 years in software development or product definition roles.

• Strong customer-centric mindset with proven experience in software development within the travel domain.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Expertise in analyzing complex problems and providing systematic, data-driven solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies, databases, and relevant certifications (advantageous).

• Experience with Agile methodologies and specification-as-code practices (good to have).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional engagement.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deliverables.

• Strong decision-making skills with accountability for team and individual outcomes.

• Airline industry knowledge is a plus.
