Role Overview
-
We're looking for a Product Designer who solves problems, not just makes things pretty. You'll own the design of features real users depend on—digging into user behavior, identifying friction, and crafting experiences that feel effortless.
-
This role is for you if:
-
You ask "why are we building this?" before "how should this look?"
-
You think about the stressed, first-time user—not just the ideal path
-
You want your designs measured by outcomes, not just approvals
What You'll Do
-
Understand user problems before jumping into design
-
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
-
Explore multiple solutions before converging on one
-
Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout the process
-
Contribute to and maintain design systems
-
Iterate based on feedback, usability testing, and real data
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Product Thinking: Articulate user problems; think in journeys, not just screens
-
UX Foundations: Usability principles, accessibility, edge cases (empty/error/loading states)
-
UI Craft: Visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, responsive design
-
Figma Proficiency: Components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping
-
Communication: Explain the why behind decisions; receive feedback with curiosity
-
Portfolio: Demonstrating problem-solving process, not just final visuals
Good To Have
-
Exposure to usability testing or user research
-
Understanding of how designs translate to front-end code
-
Experience in Agile/sprint-based teams
-
Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.)
-
Motion design basics (micro-interactions, transitions)
-
Experience with design systems or component libraries
