Product Designer

About The Role

At Octane, Product Design is at the heart of creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered experiences. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how our users interact with our products, ensuring every touchpoint is both functional and delightful.

This role is designed for individuals who are creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about solving user problems through design. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to turn ideas into elegant, user-friendly solutions. By combining user insights, design thinking, and data, you will directly contribute to improving product experience and usability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile products
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
• Translate product requirements into thoughtful design solutions
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights
• Maintain and contribute to design systems and style guides
• Ensure consistency and quality across all product experiences
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a similar role
• Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
• Solid understanding of UX principles and interaction design
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and visual design skills
• Basic understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS is a plus)
• Experience with usability testing and user research methods
• Creative, user-focused, and able to iterate quickly based on feedback
