Product Designer

  • Design and Development:
  • Develop and conceptualize original patterns and designs for product categories: glassware, dinnerware, cutlery, home accessories
  • Create a wide range of tableware and home accessories, ensuring each piece is both functional and appealing
  • Utilize various design software and tools to produce high-quality sketches, renderings, and prototypes
  • Product Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the tableware products offered, including materials (such as porcelain, stoneware, glassware), brands, and care instructions. Stay current with design trends and incorporate them into new product lines
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand consumer needs and market trends - what's needed for the WS & Retail, HORECA
  • Present designs and concepts to internal stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement:
  • Conduct thorough research and testing to ensure the durability and functionality of designs
  • Refine and iterate designs based on user feedback and performance metrics
  • Maintain a consistent and high standard of quality across all products

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing patterns for tableware and home accessories
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Language: Good English speaking and writing
