We’re seeking a Product Designer / CAD Drafter to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll help transform concepts into production-ready designs, update proven products, and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and shop foremen. At Dymax, your work doesn’t just sit on a screen — it goes into iron.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks.
• Support the design of new attachments, components, and machinery concepts.
• Prepare design packages for prototyping and production.
• Collaborate with engineers and market teams to ensure manufacturability and durability.
• Help track and support prototype builds and low-volume runs.
• Maintain design files, revision history, and supporting data.
• Assist with manuals and technical documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field.
• 2+ years of CAD drafting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD software).
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and fabrication standards.
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience a plus.
