User Experience Designer

RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a User Experience Designer to join for an approximate 6-month project, with the possibility of conversion!

This is a fully on-site position, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with candidates expected to commute to the Bellevue, Washington office 5 days per week.

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on building intuitive, impactful solutions across a complex ecosystem of logistics and delivery products. This role involves designing experiences that support the planning and management of large-scale infrastructure, with a focus on internal and third-party tools that enable operational excellence in transportation and shipping.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping user-centered solutions informed by customer insights, data, and accessibility principles. Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and business leaders, you will craft elegant design systems and user interfaces that drive clarity, efficiency, and innovation across platforms.

As a Senior UX Designer, You Will:

• Plan and propose innovative UX solutions across a wide range of digital products.

• Design new experiences and iterate on existing ones, influencing long-term product strategy.

• Create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design intent.

• Advocate for your design decisions using research, business requirements, and user data.

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers from concept through execution.

• Contribute to and evolve a scalable design system to ensure consistency across products.

• Participate in user research and performance analysis to validate design effectiveness.

• Present work to internal stakeholders and senior leadership for feedback and alignment.

• Contribute to the team’s UX knowledge by sharing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

As an Applicant, You Bring:

• 4+ years of experience in UX wireframing and prototyping.

• 3+ years conducting primary UX research, including qualitative observational studies.

• 6+ years of experience with clear, effective written and verbal communication.

• 4+ years of project and stakeholder management in a cross-functional environment.

• Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive design patterns.

• Strong familiarity with modern design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Dovetail, AI tools).

• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• A customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for usability, accessibility, and design systems.

• A proactive, self-starting attitude and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Compensation

Pay Range: $50 -$62.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
