RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a User Experience Designer to join for an approximate 6-month project, with potential for conversion!

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior User Experience Designer to shape the future of virtual healthcare. In this role, you’ll lead the design of telehealth solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and accessible, helping patients connect with care more easily and effectively. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex healthcare workflows into simple, human-centered digital experiences.
Design end-to-end telehealth experiences that work seamlessly across platforms and devices
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that bring healthcare solutions to life
Partner with product, engineering, and clinical teams to align design with patient needs, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations
Conduct and synthesize user research to guide design decisions and improve usability
Present your work clearly to stakeholders, including clinicians and business leaders
Help evolve and maintain a consistent design system across digital touchpoints
Facilitate design thinking workshops and contribute to a culture of innovation in healthcare UX
7+ years of UX/UI design experience, including work in healthcare or medical technology
A degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
A portfolio that demonstrates strong user-centered design for complex, digital healthcare products
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch)
Hands-on experience with user research methods, usability testing, and rapid iteration
A strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to design for inclusivity
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to advocate for users and align cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of leading complex initiatives
Familiarity with healthcare-specific challenges such as HIPAA compliance, clinical terminology, and patient workflows
Experience designing for telehealth, and working with design systems or component libraries
Bonus if you have basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or experience launching healthcare products

Pay Range: $55-$62.18 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
