Product Designer Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented AI Product Manager Intern to support the product management team in executing web and mobile-based digital products. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the end-to-end product lifecycle, including requirement gathering, documentation, coordination with cross-functional teams, and supporting product launches.

The intern will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, QA, Business, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment with client and business objectives. This role is ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in Product Management and gain real-world experience in digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and updating the product roadmap and sprint backlog for web and mobile platforms
• Support requirement gathering by documenting user needs, business requirements, and functional specifications
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria under Product Manager guidance
• Coordinate with design and development teams to track sprint progress, dependencies, and risks
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and competitor benchmarking
• Assist in tracking product performance and basic analytics using tools such as Google Analytics
• Support AI/ML-enabled features by assisting in documentation of use cases, workflows, and data requirements
• Maintain structured product documentation, including PRDs, release notes, and KT materials
• Prepare stakeholder updates, review decks, and internal reports
• Support product demos, UAT coordination, and feature walkthroughs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (ongoing or completed) in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Design, Business, or a related discipline
• Strong interest in Product Management and digital product development
• Basic understanding of web and mobile application ecosystems
• Familiarity with tools such as Zoho Sprints, JIRA, Trello, or equivalent
• Exposure to design tools like Figma or wireframing concepts is desirable
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• High ownership, learning mindset, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts will be an add-on.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic projects, internships, or coursework involving AI/ML, data analytics, or intelligent systems
• Exposure to AI-powered products such as recommendation systems, chatbots, personalisation engines, or predictive analytics
• Basic understanding of APIs, data flows, and technical constraints
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms or data tools is an advantage
• Product Management certifications or coursework (Airtribe, Product School, Hello PM, or equivalent)

Internship Duration: 6 Months [Performance will be evaluated upon completion of the internship period. Based on the evaluation, a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) may be extended]

Stipend: 10,000 per month
