Production Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to plan, coordinate, and optimize manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production while driving process improvements and collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule production based on demand and resources.
• Allocate machines, manpower, and materials to meet daily/weekly targets.
• Optimize processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with QA to maintain quality standards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and maintain machines, tools, and fixtures with preventive maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in machines, materials, and processes.
• Support R&D and design teams to translate prototypes into manufacturable products.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain for seamless production flow.
• Monitor production costs, improve material utilization, and ensure workplace safety.
• Promote continuous improvement and a culture of safety on the production floor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing (preferably in appliances, filtration, or consumer products).

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and process flow.
• Familiar with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and production documentation (BOMs, SOPs).
• Ability to read/interpret 2D & 3D drawings and GD&T.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
