Product Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving products while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production, utilizing your expertise in engineering principles and design software.

Duties

• Design and develop new products using CAD and solid modeling software such as AutoCAD and Inventor / Solidworks
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of prototypes to ensure functionality per industry codes
• Generate drawings and work orders for fabrication
• Utilize vision inspection systems to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Program and troubleshoot logic controllers for automated systems.
• Engage in robotics applications to enhance product assembly and efficiency.
• Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of product development milestones.
• Assemble prototypes and final products, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Document all design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Inventor and Solidworks; experience with CAM programming is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
