Job purpose:


Implement systems and oversee the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) related to and optimised for high-visibility Military MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supporting platforms, subsystems and parts. Manage interfaces between maintenance, repair and engineering, ensuring data accuracy and efficient collaboration among teams in compliance with contractual requirements, military standards, guidelines, partner agreements, and global best practices.

Support the development and maintenance of support documentation and play a crucial role in the change control processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and implement PLM concepts with inputs from the customer/user aligned with MRO contractual requirements.
  2. Act as a bridge between technical and business functions to ensure smooth PLM integration.
  3. Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) in collaboration with the engineering team, supply chain, quality assurance, logistics, project management and client representatives.
  4. Coordinate & participate with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, IT, quality, and supply chain teams in implementation of all fleet related Change Requests (CRs), Change Proposals (ECPs), related activities, ensuring accurate status and traceability to equipment and platform configurations.Tracking action items according to execution of decisions.
  5. Establish and manage the FRACAS, including integration of failure reporting and resolving initiatives into the overall applicable fleet or system.


requirements of role:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related technical or project management qualification.
  • System Engineering and product development process knowledge.
  • Strong technical leadership qualities.
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Have in depth understanding of ERP systems and Product Data Management (PDM).
  • Typical applicable Standards:
  • > MIL-STD-31000: Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
  • > ISO 10303 (STEP): Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data
  • > ISO 55000 Series: Asset Management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in PLM Management, with at least 2 years in a military or MRO context
