Position: Product Manager – Trading Systems & Protocol Design

Role Summary

We are developing a non-custodial trading protocol with a focus on speed, precision, and protocol-native incentives. This role is ideal for a DeFi-native product manager who understands the mechanics of high-performance, leveraged trading and wants to own the UX, token, and system design from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain technical product specifications across smart contracts, frontend, and infra layers
• Map and own user flows for:
• Wallet-based login
• Leverage selection, PnL tracking, liquidation alerts
• Points earning, staking, and fee sharing dashboards
• Collaborate with engineers to scope:
• Points system logic
• Staking vaults
• Trade execution flows
• Funding rate design
• Plan product rollouts: testnet phases, reward campaigns, and governance onboarding
• Benchmark and analyze competitor features (dYdX, GMX, Aevo, Vertex, etc.)

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience in product management or protocol design
• Strong grasp of:
• Perpetuals trading logic
• Collateralization, margining, liquidation systems
• DeFi rewards mechanisms (points, emissions, staking)
• Experience working with Solidity engineers and understanding smart contract constraints
• Proficiency with Notion, Figma, Dune, and basic SQL
• Strong async communication, spec writing, and project ownership ability

Bonus

• Led a product or feature in a live DeFi or trading app
• Tokenomics modeling (emissions, rebasing, fee structures)
• Familiarity with wallet UX friction, gas optimization, and chain-specific limitations
