Product Manager

Job Description & Specification

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Product Manager will own the complete product/service lifecycle, from defining the vision to driving planning, marketing, and customer success. They will translate market insights and customer needs into actionable product requirements, working closely with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to deliver high-impact solutions. This role demands strong business–technology acumen and the ability to champion the product both internally and with customers.

The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

• Define the product / service strategy and roadmap
• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Driving a solution set across functions (primarily R&D, SBU and Marketing / Sales Team) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
• Specifying market requirements with justification for current and future products / services by internal & external market information & market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
• Be an expert with respect to the competition
• Develop the overall customer value proposition along with our differentiation & competitive positioning
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (written & oral).
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, influencing, persuasion & problem-solving skills.
• Well versed with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
• Preparation of presentations/ Proposals about products and solutions.
• Technical expertise, business understanding and work with cross-functional teams to provide curate response as per requirements.
• Strong Client & Partner management experience.
• Good adaptability to different and changing environments.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech in E&C/E&E/CS/IS or similar stream of engineering
• MBA/ PGDM from any Tier II/III institute in the India. Specialization in Marketing/ Operations will be an added advantage.
