Product Manager (Cash Management - Trade Products)

Responsibilities:

Internal:

  • Monitor overall portfolio profitability (i.e., relationship pricing), share of wallet & cross selling alongside RMs.
  • Drives end-to-end product sales cycle, up till execution (deal specifications, pricing…).
  • Co-build account plans for client portfolio with RMs (filling in product projections).
  • Coordinate with CCS to ensure proper execution of transactions and completion of admin activities.
  • Coordinate with Product Development team on new/innovative products that will fill a gap in the customer needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the GTB sector to achieve revenue targets.

External:

  • Responsible for growth of products within the portfolio, in coordination with RM.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on market research and industry knowledge
  • Responsible for sales & product execution incl. joint client pitching (with RMs).
  • Support on servicing clients on their product needs/requests, in alignment with RMs.
  • Support on identifying new clients & business ops (to be also assigned to RMs).
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the corporate banking sector.


Technical Competencies:

  • Stake holder management: Internal (Different Bank Sectors), External (Egyptian Central Bank)
  • Problem solving, excellent analytical skills and good communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of key Treasury, FX, Cash, Syndication products (depending on the specialization) and structuring & execution of such transactions
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent understanding of competitor positioning in terms of pricing, product offerings, etc.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Good communication skills and deep sense of understanding clients needs
  • Good understanding of the banking landscape
  • Broad understanding of the general, economic, political and business environment of the region


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree business, economics, marketing and/or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in banking sector or financial institutions.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
