Product Manager II

Our opening is for a Product Manager. As a product manager, you will bridge the technology and business domains as you guide the direction and priorities of a specific product line. You will work with stakeholders to understand needs, segment the market and identify differentiating processes and features for incorporation into the product. Additionally, you will actively work with the development team and customer facing personnel to ensure the overall successful delivery of the product to the market. Starting salary is between $70,000 - $85,000 DOE.

What You’ll Do

Core duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in key sales situations.
  • Write articles related to products and industry trends.
  • Give product presentations at industry events.
  • Conduct market research and creates competitive analysis reports.
  • Provide technical expertise and training to other departments.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for product.
  • Develop and refines user stories for product team, participate in all Scrum based meetings.
  • Direct design of new and existing products
  • Monitor quality of products and related services.
  • Create business plans for development of new products.
  • Coordinate and develops marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans for product line.
  • Prepare product launch plans.
  • Identify partnering opportunities for complementary third-party products.
  • Contribute to various management projects.
  • Travel to customers and industry conferences.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, or related) or Equivalent Experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the technology industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects related to technology products is a plus.
