The Product Manager – Insurance Platform role encompasses the ownership, strategy, and execution of product development across the full policy lifecycle in an insurance technology platform. This includes driving the roadmap, managing end-to-end delivery of new features, and ensuring seamless integration with broader carrier and administrative ecosystems.
This role focuses on building features and workflows that support submissions, underwriting, policy servicing, billing, claims, and broker integrations. Core activities include defining requirements, coordinating across design and engineering, and ensuring alignment with Insurance Innovation, Operations, Administrators, and Underwriting teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
The Product Manager – Insurance Platform plays a critical role in ensuring the platform’s usability, efficiency, and competitiveness. By leading feature development and execution, this role directly impacts broker adoption, operational efficiency, and speed-to-market.
The primary objective of the Product Manager – Insurance Platform role is to deliver product solutions that enable scalable, efficient insurance operations and create a seamless experience across brokers, underwriters, and administrators.
Product Development and Strategy:

Collaborate with Insurance Innovation, Operations, Administrators, and Underwriting to define, manage, and build the product roadmap.

Align product initiatives with business priorities and carrier requirements.
Execution of Roadmap:

Own end-to-end execution and delivery of features, enhancements, and integrations.

Work closely with engineering and design teams to define, develop, and launch product capabilities.

Ensure features cover the full insurance lifecycle, including submission intake, policy servicing, billing, renewals, mid-term endorsements, and claims.
Carrier Platform Integration:

Support integration of the carrier platform into the broader ecosystem.

Ensure features and administrative views meet carrier requirements and align with the book of business.
Example Initiatives:

Billing and payments functionality.

Claims workflows.

Underwriting file and authority management.

Renewals and mid-term endorsements.

Hazards model development.

CRM and multi-location support.

New MUWR functionality including custom subjectivity and authority controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in insurance, fintech, or other complex B2B technology domains.

Strong track record of end-to-end product delivery, from roadmap definition to launch, including strong change management skillset.

Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including underwriting, operations, compliance, and engineering.
Ability to define and execute 0- 1 product initiatives as well as continuous improvement efforts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; bias for action through data-driven decision making. Comfortable operating business analytics tooling to inform product work.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.

Familiarity with insurance platforms, APIs, billing systems, and claims workflows is highly desirable.

Salary range $135,000 - $170,000
The actual salary for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
