Product Manager (MVP Delivery)
Position Summary
We are hiring a Product Manager to lead the delivery of a new digital platform. This role converts founder-led direction into validated requirements, measurable execution plans, and weekly delivery outputs. The position is documentation-intensive and requires high accountability under changes, time pressure, and frequent iteration.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and execute discovery and validation activities such as; customer discovery, competitor benchmarking, and pricing feasibility testing.
· Convert findings into structured outputs with sources and confidence levels; maintain a tested-assumptions register (validated / invalidated / pending).
· Produce a build-ready Product Requirements Document (PRD) including user journeys, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
· Maintain a prioritized backlog and control scope through documented tradeoffs and approvals.
· Run weekly delivery cadence (planning, tracking, written reporting) and coordinate with engineering to ensure requirements are implementable and testable.
· Maintain a risk/issue log, decision log, and action tracker with clear owners and dates.
· Document end-to-end pilot workflows, including exception handling and escalation paths; define minimum operational requirements (admin tooling, traceability, service standards).
· Prepare evidence-backed investor/partner support materials (narrative, roadmap, KPI framework, risks and mitigations) to support founder-led discussions.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
· Education: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a closely related discipline.
· Experience: Minimum 5 years in Product Management (or equivalent product delivery role) with demonstrable 0→1 delivery.
· Strong written communication and structured thinking; comfortable operating under ambiguity and pressure with disciplined weekly outputs.
· Practical technical literacy: APIs, integrations, authentication/authorization, data flows, and logging/traceability concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in marketplaces, logistics, travel tech, fintech, e-commerce, or other high-transaction digital platforms.
· Experience working with operational constraints and compliance-driven requirements.
· Familiarity with workflow/process documentation and KPI tree design.
Expected Deliverables (Non-Negotiable)
Within 60–90 days, the Product Manager must deliver the following in publishable form:
· Validation & Market Pack (v1): discovery summary, competitor benchmark (sourced), pricing hypotheses and test outcomes.
· MVP Definition Pack (v1): MVP scope, workflows, success metrics and measurement plan.
· PRD + Prioritized Backlog (v1): acceptance criteria and edge cases included.
· Pilot Workflow Pack (v1): exception handling, escalation paths, minimum admin/traceability requirements.
· Weekly Execution Report: progress, risks, decisions required, and next-week plan.
