About the Role VaultsPay is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product Manager – Payments Infrastructure to lead the product strategy and execution across our acquiring, card processing, and digital wallet platforms. This role is ideal for a payments domain expert who can bridge business and engineering teams to deliver innovative payment products, ensuring scalability, compliance, and superior performance across multiple channels.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and execution of payment infrastructure, including authorization, capture, and settlement flows across POS and eCommerce.
• Drive scheme integrations and certifications with Visa, Mastercard, Jaywan, and Amex.
• Design and optimize merchant onboarding, reconciliation, settlement operations, and fraud/risk controls.
• Enhance transaction approval rates and introduce value-added services to improve merchant experience.
• Deliver digital wallet products including P2P transfers, top-ups, cash-outs, and tiered KYC aligned with CBUAE guidelines.
• Integrate UAE payment systems such as AANI, UAEFTS, and UAEQR, and explore cross-border remittance capabilities.
• Manage multi-currency and wallet float operations, with an eye on future crypto integration opportunities
• Develop BRDs/RFCs including API contracts, data models, and acceptance criteria.
• Define product performance metrics (SLOs) such as latency, uptime, and approval rates; oversee incident management and rollout strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with PCI DSS, CBUAE, and AML/CFT regulations
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, compliance, finance, and operations teams to align product initiatives with business goals.
• Present product roadmaps, business cases, and performance reports to senior leadership.

Must Have

• 5+ years of product management experience within payments, with a focus on merchant acquiring and processing.
• In-depth understanding of payment schemes (ISO 8583, EMVCo), Visa/Mastercard/Jaywan/Amex, 3DS 2.x, and tokenization.
• Technical proficiency in writing product specifications, API design, and systems architecture.
• Proven track record of executing 0→1 product launches and managing multiple stakeholders.  Knowledge of PCI DSS, AML/CFT, and financial accounting principles.
• Strong communication, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Preferred

• Familiarity with CBUAE regulations (RPSC/SVF), AANI, and UAENPSS frameworks.
• Experience in cross-border payments, remittances, and digital wallet ecosystems.
• Technical or software development background, or experience with payment processors.
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as crypto and digital assets.
