Roundel is Target’s entry into the media business; an advertising sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe content environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. We operate with the ethos of trust and transparency and that media works best when it works in everyone’s best interest. At the very root of that, Roundel is here to drive business growth for our clients, and redefine “value” in the industry by solving core industry challenges by building innovative solutions and products. We are here to drive a key growth initiative for Target and to lead the industry to a better way of operating within the media marketplace. One of the key offering by Roundel to our clients for engaging with high-intent shoppers in Target is “Target Product Ads (TPA)”. These are native ad placements placed where shoppers are actively searching and browsing for products.

Role overview:

As a Product Manager for Performance Products – Forecasting, Scoring, and Recommendations, you will own and scale the core intelligence products that power Roundel’s media business.

Your products ensure advertisers get the most out of Target’s retail media network — from accurately forecasting inventory, to ranking and scoring TPA campaigns for maximum value, to surfacing AI-led

recommendations that drive advertiser success.

You will shape product strategy, define roadmaps, and deliver high-impact capabilities that directly influence Roundel’s revenue and advertiser outcomes. Working at the intersection of data, AI, and business, you’ll

partner closely with data scientists, engineers, and partner teams to design scalable systems and intelligent models. You’ll also collaborate with sales, GTM and other product teams to ensure these products

translate into real-world value for advertisers, and to continuously refine based on adoption, performance, and market feedback.

As part of Roundel, Target’s retail media business, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the sophistication of our forecasting, optimization, and recommendation engines.

You’ll influence how advertisers plan, invest, and win on Target’s platform — impacting both advertiser success and Target’s bottom line.

About You:

  • Experience: 4+ years of Product Management, ideally with a focus on data-driven, optimization, or AI-powered products in adtech, martech, or related fields.

  • Technical fluency: Comfortable working with data science, machine learning, or AI-driven systems; able to bridge technical depth with business application.

  • Domain knowledge: Understanding of retail media networks, digital advertising ecosystems, or media buying workflows is a strong plus.

  • Cross-functional leadership: Proven ability to partner with data engineers, scientists, API developers, and commercial teams to bring complex products to market.

  • Analytical strength: Skilled at interpreting large datasets, validating accuracy, and turning complex signals into actionable decisions.

  • AI curiosity: Experience (or strong interest) in GenAI/agentic AI and applying emerging technologies to improve forecasting, optimization, and recommendations.

  • Strategic mindset: Able to set product vision, establish OKRs, and drive execution across multiple dependencies in a fast-moving space.

  • Influence & storytelling: Excellent communicator who can distil technical complexity into compelling narratives for sales, advertisers, and executives.

  • Organized & adaptable: Adept at managing priorities, navigating ambiguity, and iterating quickly based on feedback and results.
