Product Manager Supply Chain
About the Role:
The Product Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for developing and managing supply chain financing products that address the working capital needs of suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers. This role involves designing Shariah-compliant and conventional solutions, optimizing product processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive portfolio growth while mitigating risk.
Job Responsibilities:

Design and launch supply chain finance products (e.g., invoice discounting, purchase order financing, distributor financing) aligned with market needs and business strategy, focusing on
product development
and sustainable
profitability

Manage the end-to-end
product development
lifecycle, from ideation and structuring to performance monitoring and continuous optimization

Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and evolving needs within supply chain ecosystems for new
product development

Collaborate with Credit and Risk teams to define underwriting criteria for suppliers, distributors, and anchor/buyer relationships while balancing risk and
product yield

Drive
digitalization
of onboarding, limit management, and disbursement processes through close coordination with IT and Operations teams
-
Enable system integration with platform partners to support seamless
digitalization
of onboarding for merchants, distributors, and suppliers

Lead onboarding of anchors, merchants, distributors, and their supply chain networks to expand product reach and utilization, optimizing
product yield

Monitor portfolio performance, including utilization, delinquencies, turnaround time,
product yield
, and overall
product profitability

Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and, where applicable, Shariah-compliant structures such as Murabaha and Salam
-
Support business growth by training and enabling relationship managers and sales teams on product features,
digitalization
processes, and risk parameters

Track key metrics such as active clients, ticket size, turnaround time, portfolio quality,
product yield
, ecosystem expansion, and drive continuous improvement to maximize
profitability

Required Qualification & Experience:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management from an HEC-recognized university

5-7 years of experience in product management, trade finance, or supply chain finance within a bank or financial institution

Prior experience working with anchor-buyer programs or invoice financing products

Experience with SBP regulations for trade and supply chain finance is preferred
Essential Skills

Working knowledge of supply chain finance structures (invoice discounting, reverse factoring, distributor financing)

Strong Excel skills for portfolio MIS and performance tracking

Understanding of risk assessment for supplier ecosystems and anchor-buyer models

Familiarity with SBP Prudential Regulations for trade finance

Cross-functional collaboration with Trade, Credit, IT, and Operations teams

Data-driven problem solving and product analytics

Strong communication skills for sales training and anchor relationship management
