The Role
Job Title: Product Owner/Manager Department: Product Reports to: CEO PURPOSE STATEMENT: Responsible for defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, translating business requirements into actionable technical tasks, and collaborating with engineering, design, and marketing teams. Ensure product features are delivered with high quality, align with user needs, and support the company’s growth strategy. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Duties): • Product Roadmap & Strategy: Define and manage the product roadmap in alignment with business goals and strategic priorities. • Technical Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications. • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog by creating detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements. • User-Centric Design & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with UX/UI designers and lead acceptance testing to ensure features are user-friendly and meet quality standards. • Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and other departments, communicating product updates and gathering input. • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Track product performance metrics and use data analytics to make informed decisions for future improvements. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs): • User engagement, retention, and conversion rates • Roadmap alignment with business goals • Backlog prioritization effectiveness • Feature adoption and user satisfaction • Time-to-market for new features • Product quality and performance metrics KEY FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: • Internal: CEO, Engineering/Development Team, UX/UI Design Team, Sales Team, Customer Support Team, Data Analytics Team, Finance Team, HR/Recruitment Team. • External: Customers/End Users, External Agencies (e.g., Marketing or Research Firms), Third-party vendors / Technology Providers, Regulatory Bodies, Competitors and Industry Peers, Investors/Stakeholders.

Requirements
PERSON SPECIFICATION: • Education: o Bachelor's in Business, IT, or a related field (Essential). o Agile or Product Management Certification (Desirable). • Experience: o 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager in a tech-driven environment (Essential). o Proven technical background with a strong understanding of product development cycles (Essential). 19Software development experience is preferred. • Skills: o Proficient in agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) (Essential). o Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications (Essential). o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills (Essential). o A problem-solving mindset with a focus on user-centered design (Essential). o Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (Essential). o Familiarity with software development processes, technical stacks, and APIs (Essential). o Clear written and spoken communication in Arabic & English (Essential).
