Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Owner with over 8 years of expertise in the securities industry, particularly in settlement processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that streamline and enhance settlement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
• Develop and maintain a clear product backlog, prioritize features, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Analyze current settlement processes and identify areas for automation, improvement, and risk mitigation.
• Drive compliance with industry regulations and internal standards related to securities settlement.
• Use market insights and industry best practices to inform product development.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure successful product delivery.
• Conduct regular training and workshops to ensure adoption of new features and functionalities.
• Monitor key performance indicators and leverage data analytics to optimize settlement workflows.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of product management or ownership experience within the securities or financial services industry.
• Strong domain knowledge of securities settlement, clearing, and custody processes.
• Proven experience with financial markets infrastructure, clearinghouses, or settlement systems.
• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements impacting securities settlement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), CFA, or other financial certifications are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fintech or financial technology products.
• Familiarity with settlement automation tools and blockchain technology.
• Knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks in securities settlement.
