Product Owner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–6 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or technical product ownership
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, with hands-on experience managing Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps boards
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience preparing mock-ups and wireframes using tools like Figma, Miro, or Balsamiq
• Strong grasp of system integrations (API, ERP, payment gateways, web services) and software development lifecycle
• Skilled in backlog prioritization, release planning, and managing cross-functional sprints
• Data-driven mindset with analytical thinking and KPI ownership
• Excellent communication skills to bridge business, product, and IT teams

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between Product Management and IT Delivery teams, ensuring seamless translation of business goals into technical deliverables
• Create, manage, and refine product backlogs, ensuring clarity and prioritization based on impact and dependencies
• Write user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira, collaborating closely with developers, QA, and UI/UX teams
• Prepare mock-ups, flowcharts, and prototype screens to guide developers and align stakeholders
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-up, review, retrospective) and ensure sprint commitments are met
• Conduct feasibility analyses with technical teams and ensure alignment with architecture and security standards
• Collaborate with the Product team to define scope, roadmap, and release milestones
• Track and report delivery progress, risks, and blockers, escalating when necessary
• Evaluate post-launch performance, gather user feedback, and propose iterations or enhancements
