Product Owner

Overview
As a Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of driving product vision and strategy within our dynamic team. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that our products not only meet market demands but also exceed customer expectations. You will leverage your expertise in Agile methodologies, technical knowledge, and leadership skills to guide the product development lifecycle from conception through launch and beyond.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and prioritize features that align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap that communicates the vision and direction of the product.
• Engage in requirements gathering sessions to translate user needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, TFS, and VersionOne to manage project workflows and track progress effectively.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the product meets specified requirements before launch.
• Lead wireframing sessions using Balsamiq to visualize product features and enhance user experience.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product enhancements and new feature development.
• Foster strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in product management or ownership within an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS services, APIs, mobile applications, Java, SQL, HTML, Git, UML, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Looker, SaaS solutions, Internet of Things (IoT), B2B sales strategies, IT governance practices.
• Experience leading projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent leadership abilities combined with outstanding communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Pay: $107,779.07 - $129,798.45 per year
