Product Owner – Auto Leasing (Banking Sector)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner with strong expertise in Auto Leasing to join one of the leading banks in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will manage the full product lifecycle of auto-leasing solutions, ensuring seamless customer journeys, compliance with banking regulations, and integration with digital banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the auto leasing product strategy, roadmap, and backlog aligned with business goals.

Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, and external partners (dealerships, insurance, credit bureaus).

Lead end-to-end product lifecycle – ideation, requirements gathering, development, testing, and go-live.

Drive digital transformation of auto-leasing processes (loan origination, approvals, contracts, settlements, collections).

Ensure adherence to SAMA regulations and internal compliance standards.

Monitor product performance, profitability, and customer adoption, recommending enhancements as needed.

Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify innovative leasing models.

Collaborate with agile teams to deliver features via sprints and releases.

Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).

5–8 years of Product Owner/Manager experience in banking/financial services.

Proven track record in Auto Leasing / Auto Finance products.

In-depth knowledge of leasing workflows – credit assessment, residual value management, settlement, and collections.

Strong understanding of core banking systems and digital banking channels.

Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum frameworks (backlog management, epics, user stories).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Experience within the Saudi banking sector is highly preferred.
