JOB SUMMARY
HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization and a family of programs, is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery.

The Product Owner is a pivotal role that serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role owns the Agile delivery process and product backlog while driving the successful delivery of high-impact data and technology initiatives. The Product Owner brings deep expertise in Agile methodologies, a strong technical foundation, and exceptional stakeholder communication skills to ensure alignment, value, and timely delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Agile Project Management
  • Serve as Scrum Master for our teams, leading stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Establish and manage agile processes using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Ensure team adherence to agile best practices and continuously drive process improvement.
  • Track key performance metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) and report progress to leadership.
Product Ownership
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritize features and user stories based on business value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Define and manage sprint goals, product roadmap, and release plans.
  • Drive user acceptance testing and ensure alignment between delivered features and business expectations.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business units and technical delivery teams.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder check-ins, status updates, and demo sessions.
  • Guide the team in identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early, and assist in mitigation planning.
Technical & Strategic Contribution
  • Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists on solution design and technical feasibility.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning aligned with business priorities and technology capabilities.
  • Drive usage and adoption of data products across business units.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is required
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or SAFe Agilist is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Product Owner role.
  • Proven experience managing Agile teams and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
  • Strong technical background: familiarity with data platforms, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), cloud (Azure/AWS), or ERP/CRM systems.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across business and technical teams.
Desired:
  • PMP Certification – preferred but not required
  • Experience in data analytics, healthcare, or enterprise systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience managing backlog for technical or data teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or SAP is a plus.
