The Product Owner owns the product knowledge (The current features, the latest product updates, and the product evolution plan. He/she shall participate in setting the product strategy and controls the product backlog. Product owner is the gateway between the business stakeholders (project managers, technology consultants, pre-sales consultants, product managers, etc.) and the scrum team

Business & Technical evaluation of product development and changes requirements

Understanding and anticipating the business needs to more effectively manage the development process

Trigger technical requirements as enablers to business needs

Lead technical & business scope definition of Interfaces between different platforms

Accountable for design simplification and scalability

Collect new product development requirements, qualify and prioritize them.

Act as key member of IT (Scrum team) Create USs story, guide Design and Development teams to understand the needs and prioritize USs

Features prioritization and backlog management for shared platforms

Act as the main link between between key stakeholders to harmonize decision making

Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. They take a primary role in inspecting and evaluating product progress through each iteration.

The product owner makes the judgment call on the performance, and gives go ahead between process phases.

Contribution in platform capacity management, change and release management, quality assurance

Communication management for platform major and minor changes with customer & Impacted users.

Work with product manager to set the product strategy and future vision

Contribute to Knowledge Management Systems, product and service launch information and case studies.

Interlock with product team regarding roadmap fine-tuning and potential product extensions.

Accountable on operations and CSMs training.

Participate in Bid support process including pricing for standard requirements.

Participate in new requests for new functionality and coordinate the evaluation of implementation alternatives mainly in the context of TTM or agile projects.

Align with the business on development team pipeline (Backlog, releases and sprints) to avoid planning conflicts.

Agrees with the scrum team about the done definition on the level of the story, sprint and release.

Clearly communicate the scope and the Goal of the release to the scrum team.
